Show me Your 'Bags'!

I also have the LLBean Stowaway lightweight backpack. It's been to Disney, BG, Universal Orlando and Hollywood. It's actually my everyday bag when traveling. I just took it with me driving up the California Coast. Great pockets and so lightweight. I can also stuff in our hoodies or light jackets or ponchos at the parks.

I use the LL Bean Stowaway for my trips to the Y to swim. It is a great all-around bag.

I would love to not have to bring a bag with me in the parks next trip but will probably need to since we're going in January.

I like the Vera Bradley hipster; perfect size for me (I don't carry a lot with me to the parks) and comfortable!

I am a fan of my Kavu Rope Sling. I do not recommend any small backpack with mesh on the portion of the bag that touches your back. I ruined many t-shirts my first trip with an Eddie Bauer mini backpack - it pilled ALL of my shirts!
The Kavu has a few different pockets, which helps for organization, and plenty of room, without getting too heavy.

I originally was going to try to go bagless, and just carry what I wanted to bring in my cargo pockets, but then I kept thinking of additional items I wanted to bring. Not a lot, but enough that would make my pockets bulge out. I've heard that security will make you empty your pockets if they see them bulging, so I figured it would be simpler to get a bag. Straps bother my neck and shoulder after awhile, and I don't want to carry so much that I would need a backpack, so I opted for a waist pack. I like the idea of being hands free and not having to worry about the bag swinging this way and that, or having to take it off for every ride. This is what I ended up getting. It says "men's", but it looks unisex to me and I like the style. It should be able to hold everything nicely. I like that it has a D ring to attach any extra items with a caribiner.

This thread is like my Mother Ship! I am obsessed with my park bag! It is so odd that I can't wait to pack it up and lug it around the parks but its true!

I currently have three options. (sorry I didn't post pics... still figuring my way around the boards)

First is the big mama backpack: https://www.amazon.com/LeSportsac-V...1-spell&keywords=le+sport+sac+backpack+mickey I LURVE the pattern sooooo much! Lots of pockets which is a must and the fabric is super lightweight and water resistant (I am assuming). We are going in June and I am not a heat person so i am going to need my water bottle, spray fan, sun umbrella, sun screen and just a ton of stuff to keep myself comfy. Plus I am the family sherpa and just generally a "packer" so almost everything will be in my bag (although I am making DD carry her own small bag this time - I am NOT carrying her supplies for her 300 pressed penny goal!!! ;) )

Next up is the smaller version of the backpack: https://www.amazon.com/LeSportsac-W...3-spell&keywords=le+sport+sac+backpack+mickey It is a great size but this one has way fewer functional organizational pockets. I tried to fit everything I wanted to pack for a day in the park and it was just too small. This is actually the one I am not sure I will end up keeping. I love it but I am just not sure I will use it considering my two other options. It could be such a great size for other summer activities though so it might end up staying with me.

Then there is my "evening" bag: https://www.disneystore.com/bags-to...pster-bag-by-vera-bradley/mp/1386395/1000291/ I carried one of these on our last trip and it is perfect for carrying just the essentials: wallet, sun screen (yes, even at night), trading pins, phone, camera etc. And how cute is this pattern?!?!?!? (and that is a great price, BTW!)

Thanks for sharing all your bags!!!

Lululemon Festival crossbody bag. Understated but goes with everything. It has a place for all my odds and ends, and I just love it!!!

I really like the lesportsac bags for in the parks. They're lightweight and somewhat water resistant.

For a small cross body I like the small Veronica...

The small Cleo is also good but a little bigger (I don't have a photo of mine at the moment).

I find I use the backpack the most but it's probably bigger than what you need. I tend to lug water bottles and a dslr in mine...

I can't lie I'm still all about the fanny pack, but if I want a bigger water bottle I usually do the draw string one!

Bags are always a pre-Disney struggle!

I looked forever before my Disney trip in Sept 2016 for a small backpack but I could not find anything I liked - until I got down there. Then I got this little cutie!

I LOVE it. Small straps (but not too small so they don't cut in like a string bag) and a small but large enough big pocket. Plus not a lot of extra pockets for going through security!

Plus, it's a Disney-themed bag

My sister loves the Kavu bags for her trips. It is nice to be able to just swing the bag to the front when you get on a ride. No need to take it off!

All I plan on carrying are my phone, ID, and maybe a few small snacks.

Last summer, I carried this in my pocket. Plus a lip balm. No need to carry a water bottle. I got cups of water from quick service places. No bag was wonderful!
