Hmmm, yes I can see them (I guess because I'm logged in at Kodak. I'll see if I can load them elsewhere).

Okay. I think you can all see them now.

Am I the only person who doesn't feel the need for a poncho in the rain? It's only water, people! Especially if you have a hat with a brim all around (like a painter's cap or "bucket" hat) so your face/glasses stay more or less dry.

I've been lucky, I haven't seen rain in a Disney park in over 15 years... not a drop over 8 days in January, none during a 2-day Disneyland trip last year, none during four days around Thanksgiving in 2003, none in any of the trips before then until at least 1989... I guess it helps not going right in the summer months, of course that's when I'd really want some rain, to cool things down!

If it rains on the next trip, I'll be sure to take pictures. :)

Exactly! I laugh at all the people buying the water spray fans (at disney prices) and then run for cover when it sprinkles.

It was raining hard during Keys to the kingdon tour. But it was very warm water. Like a shower in public! But I like to take pictures and that was hard. And it was frezzing inside any building once you were wet. Which fogged up the camera for an hour every transition.

This one is from a few years ago but is still one of my favorites. MK was flooded from a huge downpour. My girls had a great time playing in the rain!

PixiePower...that is an adorable picture! I can see why it is one of your favorites!!!

These are from Sunday, after my Keys To The Kingdom tour I met up with the family for lunch at the Crystal Palace and just as we finished up, rain! :teeth:
We sat on the patio and watched the down pour and how quickly main street and the castle forecourt emptied out, oh and I snapped a few pics.

Aww the Castle looks great, even in the rain. Can't wait til I go in December!

Well, exactly. That and the spitting camels and water play areas for the kids and Splash Mountain and Kali River Rapids... it's not like there aren't plenty of ways to get wet. And I'd rather have wet clothes than wear a poncho any day... different strokes, I guess.

I HAVE been in Disney in some hard downpours (long ago) and I know that it can rain awfully hard... but it's just water! And it's still Disney!

The camera thing is tough, though. I thought once about trying to jury-rig a system that'd screw into the tripod mount on the bottom of a camera that would attach to a small umbrella over the camera itself, but never got around to it. There are quite a few setups that you can find in camera stores for water protection, I might need to do a little research one of these days...

Thanks Mouse! My souvie from that trip was a pin of Mickey with his yellow poncho on. Never fails to make me smile!

My DS's high school band performed at WDW in Dec. 2005. It poured during their stage performance; their final song was one of those that got faster and faster, and as they played faster, the rain came down harder and harder. Only band parents (and Dan Murphy :thumbsup2 ) in the audience.

You know... I have never been to EPCOT in the rain!

Here's another from our rainy ERNESTO Day outing on 8/30.
