If I've had a bad day, I know that I can pop in here & one of the three have something supportive, clever or hilarious to say that will brighten my day. Princess Jes is wonderful

Princess Jes is like one of those mermaids from the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. Untouchable but formidable at the same time. With a whole lot of smoke and haze and special effects included in the soup. Probably beautiful too but thats by the by. And of course, just shallow. She's a great DIS friend. That's good enough for me. No doubt she would love a Princess Jes Fan Club thread. And you know, Christmas is coming (just around the corner) ps I've probably just dipped myself in the brown "garbage" bin by suggesting this but WHO CARES! Bring it on. All praise for Princess Jes, SorcererHeidi & King Llama. Umm, Princess Jes will probably pay me back in spades. But I don't think until next year, baby!

You are spot on here. Heide is a wonderful human being, someone who, despite difficulties in her life, she gets up with a smile every day. Heide is certainly the sunshine on the boards, with her gratefulness, her kindness and just plain old fashioned cheerfulness! You're knowledgeable and when you're not sure on something, you admit it and take on board any information or suggestions thrown your way. You absolutely take it in your stride, and that's something to be proud of.

Good lord!! I'm not sure I deserve all that, and I haven't even seen the mermaids in POTC movies (only seen the first one...) but I'm going to take it as a compliment!
And for the love of all things Disney, if you start a Fan club, I'll hunt you down and get all Liam Neeson on your you know what!! lol.
And @KingLlama you most certainly provide some comedic relief, much appreciated sarcasm, my favourite kind of humour, and also, when you're being serious, some great insight and knowledge not sugar coated, which I also appreciate.

I'm really glad I've found this community, I'm such a fish out of water at home with this stuff, but here, I know I'm surrounded by fans, but not the crazy type that can be found in other parts of the boards (the ones who would bleed for Disney and cant fault them... lets get serious people) and people with a good head on their shoulders.

I appreciate all the interaction I have with everyone here, I love learning about American and Canadian things, and I love imparting my Aussie weirdness onto you all.
It sure does make it a (wait for it) Small World.

Thankyou all for a great 2015, and here's to a wonderful 2016 (which hopefully sees me come up there, but the Aussie dollar just dropped again, so it's not looking good )

This is so cute. I'm Princess Jes' sister and the lovely things you have all said made me want to cry. I don't get to come on here nearly as often as I want to, but I love that my sister is just as in to Disney as I am if not more now!! its great that I can chat to her about all things Disney.

nah, can't keep up the facade. They all seem like good people and I definitely find myself coming to this section of the DISboards more and more due to the positive nature and communal feel - and they are definitely key contributors to that!

Thanx yet again for all the kind and supportive words, they mean a lot. But I'll continue to say I'm only a SMALL part of this whole community ('cause that's what it is), and I always come away with much more than I receive. I always tell everybody about this place (and The Team, and the podcasts, and GKTW), plus I wear my Dis t-shirt and get questions all the time. So anybody that has ever run across me "in person" (which I'm hoping will be a lot more of you in the future!) knows how important this place, and all of you, are to me, and will continue to be! No one thinks it's weird that I want to spend a weekend in Vegas with Scarlett Johansson or hanging out at Hugh Heffners Grotto for a week, but as soon as I bring up dining with Kevin I'm a weirdo.

I'm going to take my ball and go home now. Luckily I have Glen Livet sitting on my desk. Come to think of it, it has been a blessed Christmas and I have several bottles... now if only I had some ice.
