Can anyone tell me the rides that the shoulder harness comes down on you. I have herniated discs in my shoulder and on my cord and I want to avoid the harness and not have to get in line and the get out of line.

Not sure if harness is correct word, but I hope you understand.

Thank you in advance.

Rock and Roller Coaster is the only one that's coming to mind in Disney World....oh and Mission Space too.

Thanks.

I will stay away from them. I was going to anyway. mission Space I do not think i can handle.

It may be best for you to visit the main WDW site and search for the section regarding special needs.

From there, you should be able to find the PDF verison of the current guide which as I recall will give you the particulars for the seating on every major attraction.

There has also been some sample seating outside of the attractions so thatyou can see the type of restraint being used.

Stitches Great Escape has shoulder harnesses that can cause pressure on the shoulders If you move when their coming down.

stitch. RnRC, Mission space, are the only three if i'm not mistaken

thanks i will do that. did not know I could. thanks again.

thanks. RNR is a bummer i wanted to do that but oh well next time i guess.

Depending on how tall you are sometimes the auctual shoulder part never touches you on RnR. You can adjust how low it goes. Most of it covers your chest. If you were really looking forward to it I would do more research.
The others (Stitch and Mission Space) are different stories. A definate no no for me.

Are you sure about that? Because that was what I thought too and I *thought* I'd seen them before... I mentioned it the other day but quickly had several other members inform me that that wasn't the case.:confused3

Don't ride Stitch's Great Escape! The U-shaped shoulder harness tightens at random times thoughout the ride. I don't have any sort of shoulder problem and am considered short at 5 foot & 1/2 inch. Still, my neck and shoulders hurt for hours after that ride. My DD's hranesses did the same random tightening thing as well, so it wasn't just my harness malfunctioning.
