Should we waste a day?

My mom and I are headed back to the World this summer and last summer we bought the 10 day park hoppers with no experation so we only had to pay like $30 a day. Anyway we have like 8 days left and we are going to be in WDW for 5 1/2 days. Should we use th 1/2 in a park or shopping...here is the kicker, its our first day there...I usually like to shop on our last days...WHAT A DELIMA!!!!

It all depends on you, having a seasonal pass I never have to make that decision. If you don't do that you could always do the campfire at Ft Wilderness, watch the Water Pagent, or go mini glofing. I love mini golfing best of those three. Mini golfing is only about $11 per person so while you would have to pay for it now, it would be less. If you like to shop and do DTD then you might want to save the day. If the park you like best is open for EMH that night you might want to ride your favorite rides.

i'd save it and go for a nice meal and swim and settle in. we always go to dtd on our first day just to look around( really hardly ever buy anything then but i get "ideas") it's our traditional first day deal cause we are usually tired from driving. plus that will leave you 3 whole days for next time!

I'd hang out at the hotel enjoy the pool, have a good meal and shop at DTD. I nice relaxing end to a busy vacation
