Should we wait until the week of trip to purchase Discovery Cove in January

Hello everybody,

we are taking the kids to DC for the first time in January. We love Disney in January so this time we are going to take a shot at universal as well as Discovery Cove. I know the weather is iffy. Do any of you know if they sell out early in january or would we be pretty safe buying maybe a couple of days before?

Discovery Cove is typically very slow in January and you should not have trouble making reservations that week. The only issue is that the park is not open Tues-Thu most of the weeks January-February, so that can take a big chunk of availability out of your vacation.

be aware that prices will be higher when booking roughly 0-3 days out, from what ive seen.
