Should we visit Aquatica?

We are big Disney fans, but will be heading to Sea World for the first time in a few weeks.

I'm considering spending our last day at Aquatica before our drive home (we only live 2-3 hours away).

We have 4 kids: 9, 7, 3, and 1. The 9 and 7 year old have been to Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon, and are begging to go back, but I am waiting until the 1 year old is at least 2, if not a bit older.

I'm not sure how Aquatica compares to BB/TL - size-wise, and slide-wise. Part of me thinks that all of these big waterparks should get put off until the littlest guy is bigger. On the other hand, we'll be right there, the weather is perfect, and what a great surprise it would be for the older kids...

Are there many areas for little ones to keep them entertained while the bigger ones go on bigger rides? Any height minimums to be aware of? We have one 48" and one 54" kid. The little ones are obviously much shorter :)

I'm also wondering how much time people typically spend at Aquatica, and how crowded it tends to be. We will not be there on a holiday weekend, but it would most likely be a Sunday.

Thanks!

We have been to all of these parks and Aquatica is our favorite. You can review the park here:

If you go make sure to take in all the animal showings that they have during the day. They will bring out different animals and talk about them.

Our best time we like to go is on a summer evening after the afternoon storms. Most of the people have left and the park is empty.

We LOVE Aquatica!! It is our favorite water park, and we haven't been back to Disney's water parks since it opened! My girls all love Aquatica, even my younger 2 who are afraid of slides. I hang out in the kiddie area with them (have plenty of sprinklers and baby slides and things for younger ones) and we also go in Roa's Rapids (a family favorite) and the lazy river (Loggerhead Lane) and the wave pool while my 2 older ones do the slides. There is plenty for everyone!!! We never go to Florida without visiting Aquatica!!!

We went to Aquatica for the first time last June & we can't wait to go back this June. I have never been to the Disney waterparks so I can't compare. The kid area at Aquatica is great. Tons for the kids to do & some of the slides are pretty good for us adults too (for a kid area). It is a beautiful waterpark with plenty to do & see.

We loved it. Very clean and new, decent food, decent prices.

Think about getting a cabana. We did and it was wonderful. It would be great for your little one to have a quiet place to rest.
