Should we switch from CSR to WL or AKL?

Hi everyone!!

My FI and I will be honeymooning from Feb 17th through the 23rd.

We currently have resses at CSR. I see the new codes for AKL and WL for our time frame.

Is it worth switching? We have never stayed at any of the three resorts. It is our HM and I want it to be magical and memorable.

Also, if we do switch, how do I go about switching the resses? I have paid for our package already.

Oh yea, and do the discount codes apply to rooms with king size bed? Are the beds in WL queen or double?

It's not fair to compare deluxe resorts to moderates. Given the circumstances, if you have the opportunity to stay at AK or WL and your getting a discount too, you should think hard about making the switch. I never stayed at WL or AK but I have a friend that stayed there this past fall when they closed CBR. He got a great rate for AK. It was their first time to WDW and he hasn't stopped talking about it. Everyone's tastes are different. That's how my family feels about CSR. Switch right now! I have stayed at all three and AKL is wonderful for the animals, restaurants and atmosphere. WL is great all around...we just love that place. We just returned from CSR and were very dissapointed in the resort itself as well as the transportation especially. Go for the deluxes...the beds at the WL and AKL are either 2 queens or a king...the 2 queens are great. It is nice to have a bed to put stuff on rather than the table or worse the floor. You will be so much happier in one of the deluxes! If you have any questions on any of the 3 resorts I would be glad to help!

I spent some time earlier reading through some of the posts on the WL FAQ string. (dont tell my boss! )

PS...We honeymooned at the WL and nothing beats having a romantic balcony for early morning and late night kisses overlooking the Disney grounds! Trust me on this one! Also having breakfast out there is wonderful! When you get to either of the deluxe resorts call and have robes sent to the room to use!

Any tips or advice besides the robes? We have our fireworks cruise resses and circue resses, but thats about it.

Any thoughts oh experienced one?

You will love Cirque! We did it on our HM too! If possible have dinner at California grill during the MK fireworks! Very romantic. Also if you have a little leisure time my DH and I loved to grab a hammock at the Poly that faces the castle and lay in it and just watch the monrail, boats, and the castle. We talked about our future and smootched a little too!

Try the Fairytale Cuvee it is wonderful champagne..they should have it at the lodge.

Dance in the lobby at the Grand...trust me other people do it too!

Walk through the countries in Epcot and really take time to explore the gardens, fountains and shops....of course while holding hands! Splash your new DH with water from the fountain in France! While there go see Belle behind the perfume shop and get a photo taken!

Ride the Carousel in Mk!

Enjoy the boat ride back from MK to the WL at night! Sit in the back outside and cuddle up!

There are so many romantic things to do at WDW!!!!!

Just enjoy yourselves and act like 2 kids in love!
