Should we stay at GF or Swan

We will only be in WDW for three night, should we stay in the garden view room at GF or club level at the swan. They are about the same price, actually Gf is $80 more. This is our third trip to WDW this year. Any opinions?

I haven't stayed at either, but want to hear, too! We are planning on the Swan next Fall and I would love to hear what everyone tells you!

I have stayed at the GF twice, and I've never stayed at the Swan. If it were up to me, I would choose the Grand Floridian. It's really just personal preference. I love the convenience of the monorail, the elegant atmosphere of the resort, and the decor of the resort and its rooms. You get some things standard at the GF that you must stay concierge level to get at other resorts (such as bathrobes in your room, upgraded toiletries). The pictures I've seen of the newly renovated Swan rooms with heavenly beds look very nice too though--I wouldn't worry either way. I think it just comes down to personal preference.

With only three nights, you might want to consider which parks and what recreation you have planned. Being at the Swan, you're already within walking distance of Epcot and MGM. Plus you have all the Boardwalk entertainment right there. If you stay at the GF, you have the convenience of the Magic Kingdom, but you would need to take transportation for anything else.

We just stayed at the Swan and loved it, but I've heard mediocre reviews of their club level. The Swan location and beds are THE BEST. Since the price difference is not that much, I would probably stay at GF this trip and try the Swan on another visit. The Swan often offers discount rates.
