Should we say anything?

I don't expect anything, but should we tell WDW what we are celebrating?

We are celebrating my ds becoming an Eagle Scout. He is working on his project now and should be an Eagle Scout by the time we go.

Should I tell WDW (after he does make Eagle)? I have never heard of them having buttons for that.

I do plan on having his tshirt say he is a new Eagle Scout.

I am going to let him choose an adr he wants and use that as a celebration meal. Should I tell them when I make the adr about celebrating his Eagle?

The past few trips we have taken to Disney the reservation CM has always asked if we were celebrating anything special. Twice we were and they said congratulations. That was the extent of anything being done or said.

For some they will end up with special signed character pictures or treats sent to their room. We did have this happen to us back in 2001-2.

You should definately mention it just in case you end up with a really special CM who might do something special for your little guy. Just don't be dissappointed if nothing is done and pleasantly surprised if it is.

I would tell them. You should all be very proud! My son just started boy scouts at the beginning of this school year. I see that it takes alot of hard work to become an Eagle Scout. I think it's a great reason to celebrate. Have a wonderful trip.

Becoming an Eagle Scout is a GREAT accomplishment, you should tell them for sure. You can get the I'm Celebrating button to wear while you're there. Congrats to your DS, my DBF is 33 and he's still very proud to be an Eagle Scout.

WOW! He mad it all the way to Eagle?! That is awesome! I would definitly tell them that you are celebrating that! That is a huge accomplishment. I know a lot of kids in scouts that decided to quit scouting after they finished Cub Scouts. We recently found out that our neighbor(that passed away) was an Eagle Scout.

My little guy will be getting his Tiger Cub badge in a few weeks! Hopefully, we will celebrate him becoming an Eagle Scout!
