Hey everyone!!

I picked the 7-12 of December to take our 2.5 yo DD for her first WDW trip, it's my DH's first time too. I don't know anything about how the whole Pop Warner thing affects crowd level. My question is: should I move our date to the week before or the week after? Or does Pop Warner increase the crowd level by that much?

I would appreciate any help or expertise!!!:worship:
Thanks so much!

We have been to WDW that week twice in the last 3 years, and I have never noticed a huge difference in the crowds. I personally wouldn't change the date; you should be fine. Have fun! :thumbsup2

Depends on where your staying. If you are staying at one of the value resorts, I'd concider changing. We will be there that week as well, but we are not staying at a value, so we are not really concerned. Good luck, and have a great time whenever you go!!

Where are you staying? If in a value I would say YES! We stayed at BWV and we did not notice it at all. Our last night we stayed at AS Sports it was horrible the chaperones did not watch the kids at all ( they were too busy having fun) and the kids over ran the pool and knocked my 1 year old down. They were loud and cheering at 9:00 at night ( not easy to get the baby down with that:eek: ) If you are staying at a value I would never go during Pop Warner, everywhere else you would hardly know they are there. Good Luck!:goodvibes

We stayed last year at CBR during the week of POP Warner and didn't notice a thing. Maybe a few kids dressed in their jerseys, but that's about it. I agree with the PP- it depends where you are staying. I would not change the dates you are going.

2 years ago, we stayed at WL during Pop Warner week and we only saw some kids in the parks later on in the week. Last year we stayed at CBR and arrived during the latter part of Pop Warner week and we never saw them at all. This year we are going to CBR during the week of Pop Warner again, and I'm not really expecting to see them much at all. So, if you are staying any place other than a value, I'd say you'll be fine.

We were at POP during Pop Warner week. No big deal at all. They are usually at practice and competing. You may notice a bit of crowding at the food court during breakfast or dinner meals, but it wasn't like there were hoards of nasty kids around all the time. And those we did see now and then were very polite, very excited and hyper in a teen at wdw sort of way, but polite.

As far as the parks, the only time we had any problems was Saturday night...which was their last night there so I should have known better to find something other EPCOT to do!

Have a fun trip! You'll love it with all the holiday decorations!

Thanks everyone!!!

This really set my mind at ease!

Can't wait to celebrate the holidays with the MOUSE!:santa:

Well out TA advised that all the AAA packagaes were not avaialble during the 2nd week, and very limited selections to work with. She said the 1st week is still good, so we are considering moving up to leave Nov 30th instead. We had tried to extend our 5 day trip by 1 night, and could not xtend out pkg unless we move the week before or after. I figure the week before would be less busy then the 3rd week>?
