Should we keep Donalds aka Tusker House Breakfast?

I FINALLY grabbed my chef mickeys ADR a few minutes ago. Grabbed the last breakfast seating they had during my entire vacation! But I managed to grab it for on our anniversary. DH is gonna be SO happy! Heck Im HAPPY!!

Anyways..NOW that I finally got my CM ADR, Im now trying to decide weither or not we should keep Donalds (Tusker House Breakfast). We havent been to Donalds before even when it was at its original place but now that I have CM it almost seems pointless to have Donalds. Heres where we are gonna be eating at as for buffet / family style

Boma (breakfast x 2 and dinner one time) I know no characters, but it's still a buffet

Crystal Palace (breakfast), Chef Mickeys (breakfast), Ohana (breakfast) and LTT (dinner). So we already are doing LOTS of character dining and I checked on All Ears and all the characters that are at Donalds will be at the other places.

So do you think we should keep Donalds or get rid of it? Its just DH and I. We have an ADR for Donalds at 8:05am so we should be done with breakfast before AK opens at 9am or close to it.

For the reason that you'll be in the park at openning. Also, it seems to be getting really good reviews from Dis folks. I am going there my first time in Sep so I can't speak to quality.

We had 8 am reservations for Donalds Tusker House we were done by 8:55 and were one of the first people on the safari, for that reason alone it is worth doing.

The food was good, personally I thought the food was better at Cape May Cafe for their character breakfast but dont get me wrong the food at tusker houes was still very good. The tusker house I thought had a pretty big selection of foods, bagels, toast, crispy creme donuts, pancakes, sausage bacon..I dont remember everything but i do remember they even had a kid level buffet so that the kids with us could serve themselves it was really cute

The characters were Mickey, Donald, Daisy, and Donald if I remember right. we pretty much ate breakfast, took some quick pictures and were out the door for the rope drop. Our waitor was awesome we informed him of our plan and he helped make sure everything was done so we could do so. He even went out of his way to make sure we got pictures with all the characters in time as well.

Sure, why not? You do have to have breakfast, and you'll already be deep in the park. We went to Donalds this past April and had a great time. While it was a little loud, the food was delicious! The fruit just melted in your mouth. They had all the usual breakfast fare, as well as some different dishes that I tried, but DH didn't. He's not very adventurous! But we had fun. It was me, DH, DS1, DS2 and my DBro.

That is my motivation! We have tons of character meals and we are also eating at Tusker House for lunch ... but my kids have wanted to meet Daisy for years.

I'd keep it.

Well come Jan she wont be there anymore. Infact there will be NO characters at LTT during dinner once Jan comes.

I've eaten at LTT for dinner 4 times, latest in 2/08, and never seen Daisy.

I have eaten there before for breakfast. It's good! Keep it try everything at leaast 1 x.

I tried the eggs, biscuits and gravy, fritattas, and more.

EVERYTHING was delicious! I have more photos, but not with me. I'll try to come back and post them later!
