We are going for our second trip to Disney in December 2004. I cannot make up my mind if we should go to MVMCP or not. I have been reading mixed reviews and i dont know if it is really worth the extra money. Are the ride lines really short so it would defininately be worth our while just to ride?? Would like to see the parade but dont need to see the fake snow, we live in Wisconsin and have snow 6 months a year!!
Is it usually pretty packed with people-what day of the week would be good to go. Will be there the 5th-16th. How late is the park open on these nights??

Convince me or not.

Our first MVMCP was in 2000 and we had a blast!!! We went again in 2001, and then again in 2002!!!! We go the week AFTER Thanksgiving, and its been great! the first year, we went on a Friday night, and it wasn't that crowded!!! The last two years, we went on Thursday night and it was great!!! We didn't find it crowded at all!!! The kids got to ride many of the rides, over and over! The parade was great - and we loved the 'Twas The Night Before Christmas' show!!!

We're trying MNSSHP this year! But we'll be back for the Christmas party next year!!!

Well... we went last December. Because it rained, there was no parade, no snow, etc., only fireworks. If you don't do MVMCP, you could visit MK on a day when the park is not having MVMCP (hopefully the park will not be as crowded ). If you visit MK a different day, you still get to experience the Christmas mood and see the fireworks at the end of the day. Although MVMCP will be lots of fun if you go, I personally would not pay that extra money for it again. For me, the park is just as magical on a non-party day.

We will be going to WDW in December, but will not be going to MVMCP. 1) We are a party of 8 & the $$ adds up fast - I would rather get to bed early to hit an EM the next day instead. 2) Since we are going off season, (plus the EM) I think we will be able to hit all the rides without it.
