My boyfriend and I are traveling October 24th-October 27th, and are doing 3 days at Disney.. we're arriving in Orlando around 3PM on the 24th, and we were wondering if you think we should do MNSSHP? We're 22 (him) and 19 (me). We're celebrating our one yera anniversary.. and we'll I love Disney -- and I'd really like to meet a lot of characters..

So is it worth the $80 in value to go on the 24th? I'd mostly just want to ride a few rides, and perhaps snag a "thimble" from Peter, and hunt down Jack Sparrow..

Plus I've never been to the Halloween Party, LOL.

Thanks!

This will be our 4th time going and I think you definitely should! It's just a different experience than a 'normal' day in MK. The party atmosphere is so much fun with all the decorations and all the people dressed up. We don't dress up anymore but tons of people do. Plus we all love the headless horseman and the halloween parade. Go; you'd have a great time!

I would go too. BF and I went a couple of years ago and we really had a good time. We're not "dress up" type people, but it was fun to see the characters dressed up, and they have a special parade. Plus, they make the park look really great.

Also, we made a reservation for dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern, and that was fun too. They have some of the characters walking around in Halloween costumes, and you can take pictures with them, etc.

If you can fit it in your budget, I'd do it.

We just went to our 4th MNSSHP on 9/29, and I would say that if you've never been, it's sure something you would want to do at least once. It was fun. However, this year it was quite crowded, IMHO. Lines for rides were much longer during the event than earlier in the week during the day.

Also, please be aware, that Jack Sparrow appears in the parade, but does not do meet and greets (or at least he hasn't yet).

If you want to go to soak up the Halloween-ish atmosphere and to see MK in a different light, then I'd say it would be worth it. The fireworks and parade are great! But if you are going with the intention of doing rides and meeting characters, you might find yourself waiting in a lot of lines.

Another vote for going, I thought it was amazing.

This will be our second year with our two boys (6 yr old Peter Pan and 9 yr old Hook, thank you) and we really enjoyed it last year despite Hurricane Wilma joining the party! Just be aware that the date you are going is one of the busiest week ends because the local residents also go this week end in droves and it is the most popular with guest so it will be crowded. But I think you will enjoy it.

We've decided to go.. time to make costumes, LOL.
