Should we get the Cheddar Cheese Soup?

We don't like beer, should we still get the cheddar cheese soup at Le Cellier??

I don't think it had anything to do with the beer, just the fact that I don't like foods that rich.

I was glad to try it, but don't plan to order it ever again.

We hate beer, and we didn't like the soup. There was a definite bittery beer taste when we got it. We normally love any other cheese soup from all the other (non -WDW) restaurants we've tried too. My brother usually LOVES any type of soup, and he was picking away at his, not exceedingly thrilled.

It's not terribly expensive though, so I'd probably order just a cup and see what happens. If you end up liking it, I'm sure your server could probably get you a second cup pretty quickly.

I can't stand beer, but I enjoyed the soup - although I liked it more as a dip for the breadsticks than as a soup.

None of our group thought the cheese soup was that good. We all said that the Walkabout Soup at the Outback was FAR better. In fact the entire meal at Le Cellier SUCKED. Great service; good atmosphere; HORRIBLE food. OK, the desserts were good .... but that's it.

I hate beer but I loved the soup. I couldn't even taste beer in the soup. Wouldn't even know it was there if they didn't tell you.

I don't really like mussels either, or blue cheese (I've heard that's part of the cheese selection).

DH and I don't like beer either, but we got the soup. Now, I'm not sure if we would get it again as it wasn't as good as most people swear it is. But it was tasty with the bread, or as a soup depending on your taste. Not amazing to us, but worth the try just to have tried it.

We love the soup! My husband loves beer, while I hate it. I dont even taste it in the soup. We make sure to get it everytime we are there.
