Should we do the dining plan?

I have already booked 8 nights at the GF Garden room and got the packaged 7 day park hopper with AAA-- but now I'm wondering if I should call the AAA TA and get her to add in a dining plan, too.

Is there are real savings? We're not huge eaters. I usually have a very light breakfast and then just one table service meal per day, and then a turkey leg or some other sort of snack. Is it worth it? How much do you imagine the plan to be for two adults for 8 nights in November?

Thanks!

When I asked AAA about the dining plan they said it was $420 + tax + $10 fee. Maybe it was because it was after the 45 day mark. From what I understand the dining plan include one table service meal a day and one counter service. I think they give you vouchers that just expire at the end of your trip so you can use them whenever you please at the time you are there.

The plan will cost you 35/day for each adult and give you one Counter Service, One snack and one sit down meal each day. Some of hte pricier restaurants will take two of your credits.

You can go to the menus at all ears and see what you would be spending normally with what you usually eat and then see if it's more or less for the dining plan.

If you are not a big eater, the plan may not make sense for you. The table service meals include appetizer, main entree, dessert and drink for each person. That's a lot of food, especially every day for eight days.
