Should we do MNSSHP and MVMCP

Just wondering whether it is worth doing both parades. We are there that we can go to both on 31st October or 1st November and then 8th November for MVMCP.

Is it worth the expense to do both? Or just one?

We enjoyed both parties - if you are there for both I would be tempted to do them both.

If I had to pick I preferred MVMCP.

Also it may fit better at the end of the trip - staying up til midnight when you have just arrived may be difficult.

We love MNSSHP, but having been to MVMCP twice we are not going to go again, we only went the second time because we thought that we should give it another chance! So if I had to choose one or the other it would be MNSSHP.

If you've never done them then I'd say do both, but if I had to choose one I'd choose MNSSHP.

MNSSHP is just a better atmosphere. I mean when else do the adults get to play dress up!

I have done both parties and loved both and to do both in the same holiday would be amazing.

I've been debating about MVMCP, especially with the exchange rate not being so good it's pretty expensive for what it is, but I know I'd feel like I was missing out when we're there so I think we're gonna' do it.

I know everyones opinions differ but we have done the party twice and it is brilliant.
Worth every penny IMHO.

We do LOVE Christmas tho.

What was it about MVMCP that you wouldnt go again?

To be honest we just found it to be a bit boring! I love Christmas and all the decorations in the parks etc. and we were really looking forward to it the first time we went but we didn't think that it was worth the money. We went to the shows etc and the only thing that I really enjoyed was Christmas Wishes! That's why we decided to go a second time, we thought that perhaps it was just us, but I don't think that we enjoyed it any more the second time. We even talked about going in Nov. but we decided that there wasn't much point in going a third time. I'm sure that lots of people really enjoy it, but it just wasn't for us!

I agree with the others though, if I had to choose one I'd choose the Halloween Party.

It's not that I think the xmas party is bad (clearly not or I'd not be going again) but as mentioned, the atmosphere of the HP is just more 'fun'.

It's like comparing Magic Kingdom to Epcot, they're both great but while they're both Disney parks the atmosphere of them are somewhat different.

Think of MK as MVMCP, everyone is quite light hearted and gets into the spirit of just being a bit silly with costumes and characters - it's more of a giggle. MVMCP is Epcot, a bit more sedate, a bit more sensible, it's more about looking at pretty things like the christmas lights and the snow on Main St and having hot chocolate & cookies.
