Should we do character breakfast or lunch before going home

Hi everyone,

We're going to be leaving Florida on 5/10/04 on a 4:50p.m flight and I realized that we could probably do a non-park late character breakfast or early lunch before heading to the airport. Any suggestions? Has anyone done this before and what resturants would be best? Is it too late to get a PS for a Monday? Any advice would be great.

There aren't any character lunches outside of the parks, so if a character meal is what you want it would have to be breakfast. The character breakfasts outside of the parks are: Chef Mickey's 1900 Park Fare, Ohana, and Cape May Cafe. I believe all stop seating people around 10:30, if you want to make it a late breakfast. You could always make it an earlier one, and then head to Downtown Disney for the remainder of the morning. We usually do that on our last day, if we fly in. With a 4:50 flight, you don't have to leave DTD until 2:00 at the earliest, which would give you plenty of time to shop, and even grab a quick lunch.

We always make Chef Mickey's our breakfast on the day of departure....it somehow makes the sad last day somewhat a happy day!!!!!

we did Cape May Cafe last year on our last day and had a fabulous breakfast. We were surprised how much fun we had since our DD's were 13 and 11 at the time. We all loved it and DW got to get her picture taken with Minnie - her fav.
