Should we consider another route?

We are leaving for WDW next Sunday (woohoo!:bounce: ) and we are driving from Ohio. We usually take I-77 to I-95 to I-4, but with Hurricane Isabelle potentially posing a problem, do you think we should:

A) Reconsider our route?
B) Plan a second route just in case?
C) Stick with the normal route?

(Can you tell that I am a teacher??;) )

If choosing answer B and C which route would you recommend that we take to get us there in the shortest time possible? (We will be traveling with 2 children under 3.) We'd like to stick to our familiar route, but we realize that that may not be possible.. Thanks for your help!

Actually, if this thing makes landfall late Thursday-early Friday, Sunday may not be a problem at all.

Go with option C. Not only are you leaving well after the storm is over, but you will be getting to I-95 well south of the trouble, so it shouldn't affect you at all.

From what our weather center says, if Isabel hits Thursday, then the storm will travel up and may hit your area or ours by Saturday. It will be much less intense than a hurricane. If you're leaving on Sunday, then it probably should have passed already. You will definitely know better by Friday.

Thank you everyone! We will definitely keep our eye on the Weather Channel and try to plan accordingly. Thanks again!
