Should we add on

We own 222 points at VWL and were thinking off adding on 28 points before the price increase. Can you advise if we should go ahead?

We are going to OKW in 7/2001 for 14 days using 218 points leaving 4 points to carry over.

We do not vacation till Sep 2002 at VWL , if we bpought today we couldnt use the points in time correct.

We would not use the points anywhere else except WDW.

It will depend partly on your use year and whether you can still bank the points. If you can bank the add-on points- then you can certainly use them in Sep 2002- otherwise they will expire with your current use year.

You might make banking the points a condition of sale for your guide and see if you get any assistance there. If your use year is June or earlier- you should be OK. Just ask for help from your guide.

We have a Sept. use year at VWL. We added on 75 points about 4 weeks ago. I believe we could only bank 18 of the 75 points, and we had to use the other 57 by the end of Aug. We asked our guide to please see about banking the 57, but he would not budge. We were able to sell them here on the rent/trade board. I also beleive that if we had not purchased by June, we would not have received the year 2000 points (for us, another incentive to buy before the price increase).
