I would say to absolutely do it! I went around that age and it's one of the things that still sticks out in my mind about my two visits there.

yes go see the show we loved it we just went in april and on our next trip we will be adding it again for sure.

Hoop is a GREAT show - you will not be disappointed. That said, I don't think I saw how long you will be at WDW. If you have the time, I would definitely do it (it is a nice break from the theme parks). But, if you are trying to fit everything in since it is your only trip, I might skip it.
