All proceeds? As I asked Dawn, can you post a link that would confirm that?
Perhaps they may have, but at this point I'd bet they'd be taking it off the shelves just as they did for Bush's.
Have you read the book?

I have heard O'Neill on two separate occasions, during radio and television interviews that his entire portion was going to charity;
Have you read the book?

Hate to break it to you Dawn, but O'Neill saying he'll give his money to charity doesn't mean he will and it's not proof of anything.

I can't get my hands on a copy. My local Barnes & Noble is sold out.
Whether he keeps the money or gives it away, does not diminish the stories told by 254 Swift vets.

I just read a post about how deafening the silence is from those of us on the left regarding certain issues and it reminded me..
You never answered my question Dawn...
Who's lying, President Bush or the SBVT?
No, Dawn, you misunderstood.
President Bush says that Kerry served his country honorably and with distinction.
The men who make up the SBVT say that he's a coward and a liar who abandoned his men.
One of them is lying...which one?

Peachgirl, I think you're confused about the definition of a lie.
If President Bush says he thinks Kerry's Vietnam Service was admirable, that's not a lie, that's an opinion.
If the Swiftvets are disputing his account, based on eyewitness evidence, they could be lying, or Kerry could be lying.
None of us were there, so all we can do is form an opinion.

I would say that President Bush doesn't know and he is being polite by taking Kerry at his word.

Oh I don't know bsnyder..seems to me the President of the United States of America is probably able to know the facts as well as anyone.
And Bush didn't say he "thought". He didn't say "in my opinion". He said "Kerry served honorably and with distinction."
Very artful sidestep, but one of them is lying.

You mean to tell me that the President of the United States is not as informed as you????
Because you Dawn, certainly know for a fact that Kerry did not serve his country honorably. Right?
It certainly isn't just your own personal opinion, is it?
In my opinion he did not and I will base that on the fact that he left Viet Nam in four months with nothing more than superficial wounds and the wounds he inflicted on his crew mates and the 2.5 million who served in Viet Nam, including POW's by his testimony accusing his fellow service men of war crimes are incalculable. The POW's heard his words however, in the Hanoi Hilton.
