Should they go to MK tomorrow-hurricane??

Hey palmtree - I was there at MK tonight as well. It was gorgeous tonight. I'll correct you on one thing - it did drizzle briefly before the first Spectromagic. Only a few drops and only for a few minutes, but it was enough to cause everyone I could see yank out ponchos and toss them on - including me! Guess we were all gun shy from the downpour earlier this morning.

I feel horrible. We've got some friends there right now, and this is their first trip. I'm always nervous sending friends, because they know what a nut I am. I know I can't stop the rain, but I hope they are having fun!

It's 8:15 am right now and yes we did have severe thunderstorms overnight, but right now it is clear.

By all means tell them to get to the park and get there early! This weather will scare the locals away, and it looks pretty decent for the morning. There will be some more scattered showers the rest of the day, but most everything at the MK is under shelter. If they really want to do the outdoor activities, tell them to get on them early in the day, and enjoy the indoors attractions in the afternoon. Grab a poncho and have fun!

PS this is NOT a hurricane, simply a tropical storm, and even at that, it is getting weaker by the minute.
