Me (17) and my mom were watching that lights parade at MK at night. There was a walkway from one side to other you can cross before the parade started. And they said when they tie up the rope, you can go stand up where the walkway was and watch the parade. Well I ran up there, even though I was waiting over 30 minutes to get that spot, some ADULT, maybe 35-40 years old, grabbed my left elbow and pushed me. I'm 17! So it started this huuuge brawl with him and my mom. My mom said dont you ever touch my son. And he said well he butt in front of me (even though I was waiting like everyone else). My mom told him don't put your hand on a child. And he said, well..well...and kept stuttering. He was intoxicated I think and he reaked of beer. So after 5 minutes of yelling and everyone staring, haha, my dad stepped in and started yelling. And the cm's were just sitting there watching doing nothing. So some other guy, he was southern, said "well we've been waiting too, and that's the joke. And my mom said shut the hell up, and your not even in this. So the guy who pushed me, his wife kept telling him to be quiet 'cause if we would told, he would of got thrown out I would of expected. It was crazy. I still can't believe the people that worked there did nothing though. Anything like this happen to you?

My 18 month old DD was hit in the head by a football and then laughed at by the 14 yo boys yelling "Touchdown". The CM who was there said and did nothing. Let's just say DH followed the boys back to their room and spoke w/ their parents. Though DD is fine now she did have scrapes on her knees from falling and a bruise on her forehead. It's jerks like these that don't deserve to go to "The Happiest Place on Earth". They just make it unhappy! Sorry you had a bad time that night. But unfortunately you'll run into rude people no matter where you are...even Disney. Hope your trip was good otherwise.

Thanks. The trip was awsome, but the night was just plain ruined.

Sorry what happened to your daughter. People are such idiots. And the cm's do nothing. I don't think they wanna get involved or something. Hope your trip was good nevertheless.

I'm sorry about that, some people are just so rude.

I'm sorry this happened to you and I hope the rest of your trip was fun.
When I was a WDW a while ago my husband and our 2 friends were going out of MGM. We wanted to come back later so were in line to get our habds stamped. My husband and our friends went through and I was next in line. When suddenly out of know where this boy (looked about 11/12) appeared and cut in front of me. As he shoved his hand out to get it stamped he thumped me in the face. The CM said nothing and neither did the boys parents who were stood behind me.

It happens all over the place though. When I was in Paris last year I was in the Louvre art gallery. I was taking a picture of a famous statue when a Japanese man put his hands around my waist and physically picked me up and moved me. I thought my friend who was stood next to me was going to hit him!! I don't know why he couldn't have just joined the line to take a picture like everyone else was doing!

Thanks.

Someone actually grabbed you?? If that would of been my mom, all hell would of been let out. I hope he didn't hurt you. People are just soo rude. No matter where you go people are so mean and rude.

Once many years ago on our first trip(DS's Make a Wish Trip) the CM handler for King Louie, my DS's favorite character at that point, had told us DS would be the last child and could have a few extra moments with King Louie. Well, we get up there and DS and King Louie are mugging around and my DM is taking pictures, we are all laughing for the first time in months and a woman starts screaming in Spanish and hitting my arm, trying to get me to pull DS away from King Louie so she could get her granddaughter's pic with King Louie. She then lunged forward in an attempt to grab DS(who was SOOO obviously a sick child, and only a very tiny 4yr old at that time), which would've sent him flying b/c one of his much smaller medical issues is diziness and unsteadiness. I jumped forward ready to let out all my "Boston chick craziness" on her. Luckily a CM escorted her and her family away from us. I was shaking with anger but really glad I hadn't flipped out in front of my DS. I would've regretted that as soon as I did it.

That is awful that happened to you and I'm sorry it ruined your night. Nobody should ever touch you or any other child like that. I'm sorry the CM's turned the other way. :grouphug:

Densgirl~That is a shocking story! What in the world would get into a person to freak out like that and try to manhandle an ill child! Thank God, the CM pulled her away! :sad2:

I just happen to think she was nuts in her everyday life too. That thought comforts me somehow.:confused3 Disney brings out the animal in some people. They are thinking about cost, worried that someone is getting something that they arent...that kind of thing. I try to ignore it usually but when you get near my kid I begin to resemble Nala from the Lion King.
