Should my room prices have been higher?

Hi, I use the DDP code for Feb 22-28 (which I thought was peak) and got the $79 a night rate. Is that right? Isn't that peak?

Never ask if they can raise your room rate or if it was too low. It is still overpriced so be happy with your low room rate.

I don't think my room is overpriced. I'd pay a lot more in my area, and I prefer staying on Disney for the convenience. We've always had a nice clean room, unlike some of the dogs we used to get outside of Disney. I'm always happy with my Disney room. If I thought it was overpriced, I wouldn't stay there.

My question was really..isn't that time period supposed to be peak time?

Yes, that is peak season for the Orlando area (lots of northern schools are on break President's week). Sounds like you won the lottery...good for you! Hope you're as lucky with the crowd control as you were with that rate

That is peak season - but where are you staying? For the value resorts, the peak season rate is $79 - the rate for value season is $55.

DMRick - That is supposed to be peak time - but the same thing happened to me when I made our res. for next week with the AP rate. We are going during regular season, but got the rate for value season. I checked it several times, but that's the rate they gave me, and it's on my confirmation sheet. So, I guess we just catch a break!

Ok, I guess I was confused. I thought there was value, regular and peak.

I thought value was $55, regular was $79, and Peak was $89 with this code. I must have misunderstood Mousesavers..they show the following, and I guess it's just preferred, peak that is $89. There must not be a regular involved, since the code ends April 16th.
We usually go at value times.

Mousesavers: $55 standard, Value season; $79 standard, Peak season; $89 preferred, Peak season
