Should I wait to buy MNSSHP tickets?

I was wondering if I should buy the tickets in advance or not because my husband is a veteran and qualifies for the military discount. I would love to save the money, but the planner in me worries about availability. We plan to go on 10/2 which is the Thursday before the TOT 10 miler. What do you think?

I am wondering about this same thing. I am hoping someone gives some advice. We plan to attend on the 13th though. I would be so upset if we waited and they sold out

Are you sure there is a discount available for Veterans? I dont know about that. Usually when special event tix go on sale all associated discounts are avaialble at that time. I know DVC, AP, and Florida Resident discounts are available. I would check with Shades of Green regarding the special event ticket. If the discount is available they would know otherwise it doesnt pay to wait and run the risk of getting shut out IMHO

I am sure there is a discount. But you have to buy the tickets the day of and he has to show his military ID. They don't allow you to do it online because anyone could say they are eligible. I don't believe Shades of Green have anything to do with this. I'm staying at POR anyway. I'm just not sure how many parties sell out, especially in the beginning of October.

I wondered about waiting, just because of weather concerns. Would hate to pre-purchase for the only party when it rains!

Better to purchase now and be excited rather than wait and the event be sold out; I would hate for you and your family to miss the party

Hello, my DH is active duty military, however he won't be joining us on our upcoming trip. Can I, with my dependent military id, purchase the discounted tix? If so, does anyone know how many I can purchase?
