should I utilize EE days in late Aug/early Sept?

How important is it to use EE days especially in late Aug./Early Sept? I am a bit confused. Some guides say utilize the EEs and others say avoid the EE park for that day! I want to see the fireworks and I am betting my DD8 won't like being dragged off to a park at the crack of dawn the following day. I haven't been to WDW in 17 years so I would appreciate help. We leave in 17 days!!!!!

we have done both and find it beneficial to do ee even in off season, we get a lot of big rides done pre any crowds and can go back to those we like later and if the wait is too long, we already did it ( though in Dec and Jan that has yet to be the case!)

if you really hate getting up it may not be for you but it's nice for shorter bus waits also. when we go ( which is a little less busy than Sept,) the park with ee isn't busy enough to warrent leaving. think that might apply mostly to peak season but if you feel like it is getting crowded and want to leave you still will have done stuff you would have waited for otherwise.

maybe skip ee the day after a late night and go if you can the other days.

We are going in a couple of weeks and will probably only due EE at AK as the hours will be reduced at that time to 9:00 - 5:00.

It will still get warm in the afternoon, that time of year.
Using the EE allows you to get the attractions done that you want and take a break in the afternoon.

I like doing EE at MK (especially when it's really hot) then we leave around noon, take a break and head to another park that's open later. For the other parks, I go the day after they have had EE.

Thanks for the help. I think we'll try to get to the parks on EE days. Like some of you said, it's very hot and we plan on taking afternoon breaks by the pools!
This board is great. I feel very ready to have a great time with my DD! Making up an schedule for the five days we are there has eased my mind. Even if we don't follow it, it's nice to have it!
