Should I use on-line check-in at BWV?

I'll be checking into the BWV on Sunday, Nov. 28th. I am planning on checking in around 7:30AM and then heading out to Epcot so I'm not too concerned about my room being ready. Would I have a better chance of getting the location I'd like(high floor facing main driveway)by checking in in person or doing the on-line checkin several days before? I've never done the online checkin but will probably try it for the one night I'm staying at POFQ on Saturday, 11/27, as I don't care about room location for one night.

Why wouldn't you use it? It's easy, quick and maybe it does help you get your request.

I've used it at BWV my last 3 trips.....don't know if it helped in getting my requests but they were met each time

We used it and it was so nice not waiting in much of a line.

I was there last week and did not use it. I walked right up to the counter. I've never had a wait at check-in at BWV. I prefer to talk to a person to be sure all is in order. Our room was ready when we got there around 2:00, it was already assigned.

We checked in to BWV for a split stay in October and did online check in for both villas. Got our room requests on both. One room (our first) was available at 11:30 am and the other wasn't available until after 4:00 PM (the smaller room, a dedicated studio). We usually arrive at the resorts earlier so there are rarely any lines, but it does seem to save the CM manning the counter time because everything is already.

BTW, you can still check to see that all is in order and changes can still be made if necessary even when you use online checkin.
