Should I try Raglan Road?

I just added a night to my Dec. trip, so now I have an extra TS credit to play with. I am having trouble deciding where to "spend" it. I keep going back and forth between the Liberty Tree at MK, Ohana or Raglan Road. I think I am leaning towards Raglan Road, but I would appreciate some feedback. Thanks!

If you've never eaten at Ohana's, definitely add that meal.

We tried Raglan on our last trip after reading all the great reviews. No one at our table was impressed. (We did not see the entertainment though). When talking about our upcoming trip and where to eat at DTD, DH said--anywhere but that Irish place.

Had great service and food both times. First, was with the whole group (13), including kids 2,2 &6. Our girls (2&6) even got up and danced to the Irish music. Great time for all. Second, was just an adult night out (2 couples). This time not only heard the band, but also saw the Irish step dancer.

Tried a variety of meals and everyone was pleased. The desserts were AMAZING!! We'll be going back this December and already have our ADR's

My family loved Raglan Road. The food was terrific, great service, and a fun and lively atmosphere. If you'd like a character meal, LTT is a good choice. It's basic comfort food, nothing extraordinary, but not bad. The characters are very interactive. Ohana was the most disappointing meal of our recent trip, so can't recommend it. Supposedly there are some changes coming in a few months. That seems to be a perpetual rumor. We had issues with uneven service and inedible meat. The side dishes were good, but not worth a repeat visit for us. The entertainer wasn't even interesting.

I'd suggest 'Ohana if you haven't been. I wasn't impressed with RR (but my friends were) but LTT is pretty good. I just like 'Ohana better for the experience. And the Poly is such a lovely resort.

'Ohana and Raglan Road are two of our favorites in all of Disney. But if I were forced to pick just one it would be 'Ohana. Great food, great fun, great view of the fireworks if you time it right, etc, etc/

I have been to Ohana before and loved it every time, but I'm considering Liberty Tree or Raglan Road for something new. The more I think about it I don't think a character meal would fit the bill, so it is between Raglan Road or Ohana.

Raglan Road by far has the better food of your three choices. Beautiful, great service, wonderful food and desserts.

Ohana, a lot of meat, sometimes a bit tough. Sure, all you can eat, but not impressive at all. Best if you are having lots of drinks! :lmao:

LTT, yes, all you can eat, think stove top stuffing type meal. Great service, nice atmosphere, but the lunch menu is the real winner in this restaurant.

It was our favorite last year. I had the "it's not bleedin chowder" last year.
YUMMY!!!!!!!!! It is now I must do for us.:thumbsup2

Ragland Road is great place if you want a bowl of stew and a pint of the black stuff. (Not a proper pint mind you, but an "American" pint!!!) But if you want a good meal, nothing beats Ohana!

Out of those I'd choose 'Ohana over Raglan Road. I found the amount of food at 'Ohana to be more than Raglan, and better value :)

Food-wise Raglan Road wins no-contest. The entertainment is great also, but doesn't start until 9pm. Ohana and LTT have the most quantity of course, since they are both all you care to eat, but Raglan Road gives you enough to fill you up.

But if one of the others is more convenient on that pariticular day, I wouldn't avoid them.

I really enjoy Ohana, but, if I had to pick, I'd go with Raglan Road. (LTT has never been one of my favorites. Nice characters, but I was unimpressed with the food.) In addition to the entertainment, everything we had at Raglan Road was very good. Hot, fresh, and very tasty. I could live on the appetizers alone.
