should I take a pushchair??

We always take ours, and it really isn't any hassle on eurostar. It really does help when you're walking back to your hotel in the rain, is a useful extra seat when you're sitting outside at a busy cafe, and once you park it for a parade is very hard for other people to move! I think I might be able to manage one child with no pram, but once you need spare raincoats/drinks/hats/snacks for a few, a buggy is really handy.

You see, now I've read your reply and I'm thinking how useful it would be to take the MacLaren with storage options and the raincovers we already have. I was just worried about it being much heavier for the Eurostar. I was also worried about it being taken but if we lock it up we couldn't have that problem. Hmmmm...

i always take my mc claren but let it get a bit rough looking before we go, then park it next to some expensive looking buggies

We took our quinny last year and i hated having to leave it! I know it's only a buggy but i worked hard whilst i was pregnant to afford my lovely buggy! Luckily it didn't go anywhere but have decided i can not cope with the stress of leaving it this year so have bought a double buggy (so DS1 can have a rest).

oh I don't know what to do, we go this weekend and I bought a Quinny zapp for my 2.5 year old as they fold small and thought it'd be easier to carry, but now am wondering if I should buy a cheap buggy for my little girl (She's 4 next month). I just don't know how we'll manage getting suitcase, backpacks, 2 kids and 2 buggies on the train

does your four year old do a lot of walking at home. my dd will be four in december but i know she wouldnt cope with the walking so its a definite for me to bring one.

yeah, she walks everywhere, she hasn't had a buggy for a couple of years now, she'll probably be ok

We are just back and I took my Mclaren and was so glad I did.

My wee boy was 3 in August and he was in it loads, even though he hardly naps now at home he slept every afternoon in disney. Also was glad of the rain cover. Noticed the disney rental ones all getting soaked.,

Our youngest son was 4.5 when we went last December, we hired a buggy there and paid a deposit so we could take it back to our hotel each night and between the parks. Our son loved it, even though he hasn't used a buggy at home in ages. Mind you, his 7 year old brother uses a wheelchair so he doesn't think kids in wheels is anything out of the ordinary. I'd rather err on the side of caution and have a buggy available (your own or hired) than have to leave before the parks close

My son cried when we returned the buggy, said it was his favourite ride We'll be hiring him one again when we go back next month.
