I posted that we got upgraded from cat 11 to cat 9 and got room 2646 and someone said that room was noisey and they advise me to change rooms. So I asked, they said they have rooms on deck one available, or should I stay where I am at??? Help (quick)

I have stayed in 2646 on both the Magic and the Wonder. In fact, we liked the room so much on the Wonder we requested it for the Magic. There is just a little bit of engine hum which helped put us all to sleep. There is a bit of noise as the ship is docking but we used that as a wake up call to get ashore. All in all, a nice room with no hall traffic since it's at the end of the ship. (only 2 or 3 more rooms down the hall)

Be aware that on Deck 1, there are two small portholes instead of the one large porthole in the outside staterooms on Deck 2. I have photos on my website at www.castawayclub.com
I can't offer a personal opinion, as deck 1 is one of the few places we have not stayed!

I stayed in cabin 1042 on the Wonder. It was very quiet...very few cabins on the deck so not many guests coming and going. As Barb stated there are 2 small windows instead of one large window...

I stayed in 1072 in January and really liked the location..... it was quiet, and we often took the stairs to deck 3 if the elevator seemed slow. We didn't mind the 2 portholes- but since it was our first cruise we had nothing to compare it to!!
