Should I switch to ASSP b/c of new code?

I have ASMu booked 11-3/11-8 with AP rate at $274 for 5 nights, that includes tax. With the new code released I could stay at ASSP for the same amount of time including tax for $308. When I called to book the first time ASMu was all that was available. Should I change my ressie and pay alittle more for ASSP? It will be me, DH and our 4yo.DD Is there much difference between the two? Help!!

The basic difference is the theming. The rooms are virtually the same inside (except for a bit of decoration). You can certainly walk over to Sports and see the giant coke cups and such. We like the pools at Music better. Donald and the guys spraying water on you is fun in the big pool and the piano pool has a statue of the Little Mermaid which the little ones in our family thought was very cool.

Again, if you NEED the sports theming then spend the extra 30+ dollars.

But either way have a wonderful time!

We have stayed at both and love both. I would not change for that amount of money. The rooms are the same, food courts are the same and the pools are the same. The only difference is the theming. I say stay put and look forward to your trip....Have fun!

Are you sure you can get the new codes for your stay. While they cover your time period, I know that weekend is booked solid, so I don't think any codes will help!

Thank you all for your advice. I think I will stop worrying about ASMu and stick with it!! I'm sure there is availablity for my dates with the new code because I checked through Disney's web site and what was available were ASSP and deluxe savanah view at AKL and FW cabin. We leave on the 8th, before the weekend, maybe that makes a difference. So if someone is looking for availablity that week there are some options still available.
