Should I Skip Transformers?

Just got home tonight. Rode both Transformers and Spidey. Transformers wins in our book. Granted, my husband had a Transformers collection when he was a kid. Sooooo, that might have swayed opinion just a bit.

I say ride it.
My family isn't really into Transformers either. The first time we rode it we didn't fall in love with it, but still thought it was fun.
But on our last trip (this Feb) we decided to try it again and suddenly we loved it. Rode it many times. We were even quoting the pre-show bits from the queue, which to me is a sign we have really adopted a ride.
It is different enough from Spiderman and a great ride even standing on its own.
Certainly worth riding if you don't spend a lot of time waiting.

It is worth it. If you haven't been for five years and you are travelling solo, then it's worth it to do everything you can. On our next trip, there's a chance I may skip Transformers. The reason is that we'll be doing child swap and two people in our group have never been so I want to make sure they have time to repeat their favorites. I told my husband that I'm willing to skip Transformers if they only want to do it once as long as he'll be the one to skip Spiderman so I am assured of doing that one. (Neither of us will skip FJ, Gringotts, or Mummy then. We will be using rider swap or single rider line there!)

I rode Spider-Man with our son and it really just felt like a lot of noise, confusion and flashing lights. I have photophobia which doesn't help

If you think Spider-Man was a lot of noise and confusion, I'm afraid you will think Transformers is worse. That's exactly how I'd describe it. I don't care for either one but ride them for DS.

Yeah, I think of it as a noisier, bumpier Spidey ride (although I LOVE both rides) Have you tried watching a Transformer ride video on YouTube? I know it's not the same as actually riding, but then maybe you can get a feel for what it would be like and similar rides

Both Transformers and Spider-Man were great rides, but Spider-Man is better, in my opinion. Despite that, I'd do both, given the chance!
