Should I put in a room request?

I will be at AKV Club studio July 26-30. There are so few rooms, does it make a difference?
Should I put in a room request, and if so, what would you recommend? I have not stayed club level for several years.

I forgot to ask--the 27th is my birthday, and I want to let them know.
How would I go about doing that?

Call MS and tell them you are celebrating. (They used to ask, but I have not made a reservation on the phone in so long).

To the best of my knowledge there are 5 club level rooms. Given that, there is probably like 1 or 2 opening up on your check in day, so its probably worthless to put in a request, but it doesnt cost anything either.

There are five two bedroom lockoffs on the sixth floor of Jambo House. Three are "savanna" view and two are pool view. The savanna view is kind of blocked. MS usually doesn't accept requests for Concierge villas or Value villas. The best part of these villas is access to the lounge. Nothing more, nothing less. Views are not that good.
