Should I pack swimsuits?

We are planning our very first trip to DL Feb 27th-March 7th 2009 and I was wondering about the weather at that time of year...

My question to all the experts that have traveled at that time of year is: Is ti warm enough (around mid-day) to go for a dip in the pool? Are the Disneyland resorts (DL hotel and PP) heated all year long? Would you recommend I pack the suits or not bother and leave them home? They have such pretty pools, it would be a shame not to try them...

So? Whadda you think?

Thanks!

It may be a bit chilly (I think the pool at the PP at least is not heated, from what I've heard - not too sure about the other's), but I would bring swimsuits just in case. You never know!

It's always better to be safe than sorry and swimsuits don't take up that much room in the suitcase.

We always ours, even when we go in January in the pouring rain. LOL You just never know....

You are from Canada? I bet SoCal in just about any weather will feel nice to you. :)

And even if they have a nasty cold snap, better to have them and not use them than NOT have them and wish for them! :)

bring them!

even if its cool, you may feel like a quick dip in the spa to rest achy feet or whatever.

Bring them. The weather changes here from day to day. Never know what it will be. You would be bummed if you didn't have them.

same deal for december?

DS and I will be at HoJos for a few days, will it be too cold for him to use the splash pool while we are there?

We are from New Zealand, and winters here are 2-5 degrees (C), and summer highs of 25 degrees (C)

For the life of me I can't remember the converion to (F). But I would still bring the suits. They take up almost no room in the suitcase. And if the weather is warm enough, you will be bummed that you didn't bring them. I have seen very cold December days, and I have seen my share of shorts and flip flop December days. You never know. More than likely, it will be cool weather, but I still would bring them just in case.

a good trick to remember is 16c = 61f & 28c = 82f. From there you can just do a guestimation.

TiggerNZ-you should be fine. December highs in Anaheim will probably be in the mid 60s-low 70s F (18-22c). But nights will be cold.

If a pool is heated it doesn't matter if it's even snowing. Trust me I know. ;) Call and ask if the pool where you are staying is heated. I called a while ago and was told the Disneyland Hotel pool was if that helps.
