Have you thought about renting a dedicated DVC reservation? There are so many options out there right now. I just looked and see Poly, BLT, Boardwalk, AKL (savana and standard) and even a RIV studio for your date range. If your dates are flexible, you might even be able to find a place for your whole trip.

In answer to your actual question, I wouldn't be overly excited about POP for this trip with the shortened park hours. But I also wouldn't want to do a split stay. I would consider a moderate if I didn't want to spend the $ on a deluxe for the whole trip. Of the deluxe you listed, I would choose YC.

Im not familiar with renting points, I have tried to look into it and just can't figure it out. If anyone has insight on how to do it and look into then please let me know! We have the benefits of a Cast Member Discount (friend is CM). If the park hours were normal or we could park hop we would stick to pop the whole time. I have looked at moderates and it would cost about the same (maybe $50-$75 less) than doing a split stay at YC and Pop. I am leaning more towards splurging more than I wanted for YC, but if not then doing SSR. Thinking a Split Stay will happen for us this trip and we will alter our plans for it.
