I was at a rally the other day. One of the judges explained how he had raised his daughters. All three of them are in college. He said the first question they are to ask a boy they meet is "what kind of grades are you getting?" If the boy answers with a joke, the girls walk away. If they say they are getting c-D-F, they can talk to them because they're honest but not date them because they're not making the grade. If they say C's, they boys may call them until they bring up their grades to a's and b's which is when they are dating material. The daughter say they are actually doing this and although their dating group is limited, they seem very pleased with the quality of dates they have had. It's snotty but hey, it's a method that might produce good results.

I love it. I guess I better start preparing my DS's for applications like this. I thought about making one up for the girls. The girls are worse than the boys these days so I've been schooling DS12 on the type of girls to stay away from.
