We will be staying at AKV in September for 2 days, then moving to BWV. I made the reservations individually through DVC. Is there any advantage to "linking" these reservations? How do I do that?

Linking is done when someone has booked multiple, contiguous reservations in exactly the same room type at the same resort using points from more than one DVC account. The reservations are linked to alert the room assigner that these multiple reservations are really one continuous stay so that the same room is assigned for the entire stay.
For example, if I have contracts with different UYs, they each have their own membership number. To use points from both contracts to book one stay, I can reserve some of my nights with membership #1 and the rest with membership #2. That results in two completely separate reservations with a risk that the room assigner puts me in two different Savanna View 1BRs at Kidani (or whatever I booked) causing me to have to move rooms part way through my stay. To avoid having to change rooms, I can ask to have the reservations linked which ties them together in the system so that the room assigner puts me in one room for the entire stay.
