Should I just book SW or wait for JB?

Does JetBlue take other airlines into consideration? SW is opening up their booking window on January 22nd. SW does not fly out of Newark, BUT it does fly out of Philly. Since I am close to Philly as well (probably an hour from Philly and 30 mins from newark), we are wondering if we should book SW so we can plan the rest of our trip and plus I hear that booking early is helpful in getting cheaper rates (I know that is not always the case). I would hate for SW to open up on Jan 22 and I wait until beginning of March for JB and then SW is cheaper.

Any suggestions on what to do? Would you wait for JB or just book SW if the price is right?

Not sure if you saw it or not, but I responded to your question on the other thread:

I like JB and SWA almost equally (I prefer the TVs and assigned seats with JB but love that SWA has no change fees so it sort of comes out as a toss up for us). If I found a price and schedule I was happy with on SWA I would not wait for JB personally. Good luck! :goodvibes

Wow you are right! I never knew that! But from what I see they are not flying direct to Orlando, is that correct? We NEED direct with 3 young kids lol! I also think we may need tvs for 3 young kids :)

So would you wait two months to book with them and chance that SW may go higher or JB may be higher than SW opens at? This is why I like to drive LOL!
