There are no calories at WDW....just pixie dust. Enjoy your vacation and indulge. You probably won't even gain weight considering all the walking!!!

I picked #2. I think you need to be balanced. Also remember the better you eat the healthier you and the baby will be. That does not mean you can't sample deserts that contain sugar. Have a good time!

I voted eat some and eat some fruit, as a person who also has lost alot of weight I know the importance of "not letting yourself go" just b/c it is that much harder to get back on track later, that being said, I dont do without dessert totally, its not every day and sometimes just a taste of two, just so I dont feel Im doing with out and this keeps me on track, also learning I dont need the whole piece of cake or that a smoothie or sherbert is just as good! Go have fun! Make the desserts count and eat away! Another way I stay on track I almost never drink my calories I eat them so stick to water or crystal light and diet soda..

Oh and youll be walking alot and I never gained any weight on my WDW vacations just b/c of all the excersize, also CONGRATS on the baby!

I have to say, eatting yourself into a sugar frenzy is not a good idea while pregnant.. you need to make sure you are filling up on nurishing foods for baby.. it's okay to enjoy dessert, with in reason. Fill up on Veggies and Protien and then top it off with a small portion of dessert. You can still have your cake and eat it too :)

I was under the impression that the whole point of dieting was to go to WDW and put some of it back on. It's a vicious cycle :lmao:

LOL! My sentiments exactly! :lmao: Seriously though, last trip I didn't pay any attention and did gain quite a bit (didn't weigh myself, but jeans were much tighter!). This year i'm working out and trying to eat right before the trip. It will allow some room to indulge and with the discipline i'm training myself with now, hopefully it won't be nearly as hard to get back to the gym and back to the healthy eating. I hope! :rotfl: I say have fun, you don't go to Disney everyday. Enjoy the desserts and remember; you'll be walking tons over the trip. You'll burn many calories making the laps through the parks!

I think you can indulge in some desserts and even appetizers and still not gain weight at WDW. I am a pooh-sized girl, and I eat what I want (within reason) and never gain a pound when at WDW. I think all of that walking helps burn those extra calories I take in while on vacation.

I say yes, try every dessert you want. You just lost a lot of weight (congratulations!) and you can do it again.

Besides all that walking around the World will help to keep the weight gain to a minimum.

Enjoy!

I wouldn't worry about the few extra pounds. BUT, indulging is only worth it if the desserts are really great and not something I can easily find back home. To me, most WDW desserts don't cut it. I have a couple favorites (Coral Reef's Chocolate Wave :thumbsup2) but skip the rest.

That's what I was thinking. As long as your eating a balance diet while your there, eat desserts. You can always get your daily amount of fruits when you grab a snack. Also, remember just b/c they put it in front of your doesn't mean they won't let you leave until you eat it all.:lmao: You can always order dessert and then if you don't finish it, either take it with you, or just leave it. I promise they will let you leave.

Should I induge in the desserts this year or not? Would you or had you? :goodvibes

DH and I are going down to WDW again this year with the free dining plan. Last year I indulged in the desserts and treats. I left 4 pounds heavier. DH left 8lbs heavier. Well this year I'll be 15 weeks pregnant and was wondering if I should indulge again and just enjoy the extra pregnancy weight I'll gain or should I skip the desserts?

Little info on me.
I lost over 100lbs right before I got pregnant. So of course I'm weight minded making sure I'm gaining the right amount of weight during the pregnancy. :thumbsup2
I was 143lbs before I got pregnant and am currently 149lbs gaining as I should.

So should I worry about the extra weight I may put on during our week stay?

Please note before posting.
Looking for some light hearted advice. Just a little fun poll before we leave on our trip. Please don't say consult my doctor and critize me on eating desserts or not. I know there are some out there that will. I'm a healthy young lady without any problems with my pregnacey and being monitered by a doctor. So happy voting. :goodvibes

Hi There! Even though I am not pregnant I totally understand where your coming from on the weight loss. I have been on weightwatchers a for 14 months and lost 89lbs. I am not too far from goal. We are going to wdw the end of october and I have already decided that I am not going to pass up everything. If I decide I want a cinnamon roll then I am going to have it! It's not like we will get to wdw all the time and who knows when we will go back. Just don't force feed yourself:lmao: If your craving it, then have some. And on the dining plan you can always get your dessert and eat half if you want to be mindful. But enjoy yourself. I know I have went to many gatherings and not eaten because I wanted to be mindful and I decided to just stop that and eat in moderation.
Have a wonderful trip and congrats on the new baby:thumbsup2
