I've been relating it to stress, but whatever it is, it's really getting to me now. Ever since I had my second child, I've been feeling really fatigued every day. By mid-day I'm so tired that I have to lay down with the kids to take a nap almost every day. I use to just think it was from all the stress and extra work from having to take care to two kids now, but after the kids spend almost a whole week with their grandmas I found myself still being very tired. And here lately I've been having killer headaches...I mean headaches that go down into my neck and shoulders and down to my back. This of course leads to problems sleeping which leads to more fatigue. My mom suggested that I see my dr to see if there's anything physically wrong with me, but I keep thinking if I could just get enough rest I would feel better??? I was just wondering if anyone else has ever had this feeling before?

Your headaches could be stress, but if I were you I'd go to a doctor and have some blood work done, since it seems to be a persistant problem. Maybe you are low on a mineral or thyroid or something.

I also think you should schedule an appointment with your doctor.

I agree with Chuck here.. I am thinking maybe hormonal as you said it was after your second child or maybe thyroid related.. I would definitely make an appointment and find out what is going on.. might be anemia..........take care.

my rule of thumb is dont go to the doctor unless your certain your going to die

Jason, that's pretty much my theory too. I hate going to the dr. Oh, and I hate shots in the butt too :)

Thay's not funny Jason...unfortunately some of us must go to doctors or the situation gets worse. Had I not gone to a doctor back in Jan...I could still be bleeding to this day. Forgive me if I offended anyone with my last comment...not my intention.

And hey....a shot in the butt isn't too bad. Depends on how good looking the doctor is too.

Do you drink a lot of water? If not, I would start drinking more water. I know a lot of people who suffered from headaches and muscular aches that went away after they increased their water intake. My guess is it might help the fatigue a bit too.

However, I say follow your instincts and see a doctor if your body is telling you something isn't quite right.

I went to the dr today. She said my symtoms were consistant with DEPRESSION and she prescribed an antidepressant medication for me to take. I'm suppose to go back in a month to see how the medication is working. She also did some blood work on me to see if there could be another reason for my symtoms but I won't know the results for another week.

Princess, I had the very same symptoms but, my theory was also the same as Jason's. I pretty much had myself convinced that I was going to die. I went to the dr. two weeks ago and after blood work (they couldn't hardly get enough, said I should have drank more water), an EKG (they had a hard time getting the machine to take an accurate reading), a chest xray and Upper GI.
All tests came back normal. Well, they did say I have a slight reflux problem. But, after hearing that I really do feel much better. Diagnosis: Depression! But, at least now I know what the problem is and can work on fixing it instead of stressing more.
Hope your medication kicks in and you get to feeling better real soon. ;)

Darn...wish I had seen this before you saw the Dr because after reading your first post I was going to say depression. I was right. :)
Just remember to give the meds time to work...there are only a couple that work quickly....most take 2-4 weeks to build up a blood level. Good luck!!!!

Yes, that's what the dr. told me...that's why she wants to wait for a month to see me again. She put me on Wellbutrin (sp?) and I have to take one a day for three or four days and then up the dosage to two a day as long as I didn't have any bad side effects with the one a day.

The thing that really excites me, she said that one of her patients that she recently put on it told her that after being on it for a couple of weeks she was able to get motivated to do things and she just started cleaning her house. I was like WOW, I hope that happens to me too :) My house is so cluttered, I'm always behind on laundry, and the dishes always seem to stay in the sink over night. I'm just never motivated to do any of it and I never seem to have the energy. So I'm hoping that this will give the the energy boost I need.
