Should I give up one of these for Jiko?

I have never been to AP but I would give up any of the others for Jiko!!! Especially Le Cellier I just don't get it with that place when we went the soup was unremarkable at best, the breadsticks were stale, and the steak was chain restaurant quality.

I would give up Kona. Jiko is fabulous. One of WDW's best. Have a wonderful time!

I would give up either Kona or the California Grill for Jiko. Kona is one of my favorites, but it simply can't compare to Jiko. During our trip last November, my family did the DDP and ate at quite a few signature restaurants. Jiko was our favorite - everything was delicious and I really enjoyed the environment as well. I know that many people would disagree with us (and maybe we were just there on an off night) but we found the California Grill to be tremendously disappointing, both in terms of the service and the food itself. Even if I wanted to give the California Grill another shot, I don't think I could drag my family back there if I tried.

I agree. I think it's the best food I've had at WDW.

And to the poster who asked if Boma is a suitable sub... no! Boma is a decent enough buffet, but that's all it is.
