Currently we have a 5 night stay booked at the Poly Nov 13-18th using a 40% off room only code I got in the mail way back in January ( 2 of the dates were "blacked out" I am assuming because of the soap star weekend. My question is should I quick apply for a disney visa to be able to get this upcoming discount....or will it not be any better than my current discount. Any help would be appreciated as I am trying to find anyway to save any bit of money. Also....has this upcoming code in years past just been the room or is the entire package discounted?
Thanks again!
Suzanne

I think you'll be in too late. Even though the application process is quick and if you do it over the phone, approval could be instant, I'm not sure how fast you'll get your card as you will need it in order to apply the discount on your reservation.

You 'might' be able to convice the CM to 'hold' your reservation for a week or two while you get your card though...

I'm not sure about the discount codes and all but you do earn rewards with any purchases made on the card. 1% per $100 spent. I've been saving my rewards and by the next time we go to Disney I should have enough for 1 child ticket.

While it wouldn't hurt to get a Disney Visa for the future, I think you've got a better deal with the 40% off code.
