Should I change our reservation or leave it be?

I need some help/advice for one day of our September trip. I am having trouble because we are taking friends and it is their first trip. I want to make a good schedule where there is room to just have free time and not planned down to the minute but sometimes it is hard. I am having trouble with our one Friday at Magic Kingdom because it is a MNSSHP night and we have BBB reservations as well (for all 3 kids).

We are a group of 7, 4 adults and 3 kids (6,6,8).

Our BBB is at 11:10, all three kids (boy and 2 girls) at the same time. So my dilemma is should I make a Crystal Palace Lunch reservation for around 12:15 ish? My thinking is then I have the whole afternoon for fastpasses and free time. Or should I leave our Crystal Palace Dinner reservation which is at 5 pm? (I was really hoping for later).

I would appreciate any advice/ suggestions or like that you can give me. Thank you in advance!

Based on those 2 options, I would keep the 5 o'clock time. Only because if BBB is running behind, you might not make a 12:15ish ADR.

I could do a later lunch time. It was more better earlier or later thing.

I would leave it 5pm or personally would change it even later but that's just me. I would be afraid I wouldn't be done in time for the CP ADR. Plus this gives the kids a bit of time to blow off some steam and ride a few rides between appointments.

I really want to make it later but that is the latest I can get for our party size. I really want 6:15-6:30 pm.

I think I would keep your 5:00 dinner time or see if something pops up a little later...something might pop up for later if you keep checking. That way it gives you pretty much the whole day and you don't get tied down to an ADR

I'm sorry I am over thinking things now.

Saturday we have a 2:30pm ADR for Ragland Road before our 6 pm La Nouba show. Do you guys think I could make it a little later like 3 or even 3:30? and still make the show on time. We are gonna try and do the pool some that morning and I would like to be able to not rush down pool and still have at least 2 1/2 hours down there before we would need to head up to the room to get ready.

Are you planning on attending MNNSHP? I've heard that late ADRs can put you at a disadvantage on party night. The lines for characters start early and get long quickly - if your kids are going to want to meet the special characters you may want to stick with an earlier time that won't run right into the start of the party.

No we are not. We will be leaving the park after dinner.
