Should I call special reservations again?

I have a lot of sensitivities that make me ill. When I called to make our reservations I explained my medical problem about needing non-smoking and they added that to my reservation. I also have sensitivities to chemicals, detergents, air fresheners, mold etc but didn't mention that at the time of booking. Since then I have been panicking about my other issues so I called this number (Special Reservations Line: (407) 939-7807 - option 1 from the Disabilities FAQ) since I had read on this board you could call for a special cleaning. I mentioned I had sensitivities and heard there was a special cleaning. The person I got acted like they had no idea what I was talking about, said the system was down and call tomorrow.
Was the number above the right number to call? I'm now afraid to call back and not sure what to say. I feel it makes me sound picky but I get really sick and it takes me weeks to feel better and I want the best chance of not having a problem. This is a once in a great while trip for us and I don't want to ruin it for my family. My husband says he's actually dreading the trip because of all my medical issues and on top of that we have a daughter with Autism and I'm trying to figure out things for her too. Anyhow I just hope they can try and help as much as they can. I'd appreciate any advice. Thanks so much.
 
That is the correct number for Special Reservations.
I don't know if they deal with requests like special cleaning or if that would be Housekeeping/the resort itslef.
Hopefully someone who knows would be able to let you know.
 
Lat year , I called special reservations to make sure I could guarantee (not just request) a non-smoking room for asthmatic children. No problem. The CM then went on to offer me the super clean feature (which I turned down since I didn't feel that this was necessary).
So, this option does exist.

Simply call back and hopefully you will be able to talk to someone who will guarantee this for you. Then call back the next day to confirm that the information is indeed on your reservation.
 
Just for anyone else interested in wanting to call in the future, I did call back and this time had a very nice CM. She knew about the special cleaning and really listened to my concerns. She noted this on the reservation so I guess on Monday I will see how my room works out.
 

Which reminds me of a tip: If a call isn't going 'well', always feel free to thank the CM*, hang up, and call back - either right away or later. You'll almost NEVER get the same person on the next call** and, as posted above, will likely get a better, more helpful CM/response.

*Also works in the "real" world, but not as frequently
**Oddly enough, in two calls several weeks apart, I DID get the same CM!
