Should I call Disney again?

I have been waiting to officially set my date and time for my ceremony this May. I am getting really anxious for Randy is tentatively holding my date and time slot, and apparently there is another bride that is inquiring him about the same date. Would it do any good at all to call them again? I called last Monday, and was told a SM would call withing 3-4 business days. Well that was a week ago, and I hate the idea of not having Randy as our photographer.

If I were you, I would definitely call again. I know they got back to me in 3 days, so you never know, maybe someone misplaced your information or something. It is your wedding and you want to make sure you can get your day, I would call ASAP, just to make sure.

Gosh Pam called me and when she could not get my answering machine, she emailed all the info to me the same day. I know she said that May was a very busy month so maybe you have a lottery situation? I am November so I got my first choice....I would call.

I would definitely call, Ashley. There is no harm in a friendly reminder. I would mention the situation with Randy, so they can put a rush on the request. =)

Gosh Pam called me and when she could not get my answering machine, she emailed all the info to me the same day. I know she said that May was a very busy month so maybe you have a lottery situation? I am November so I got my first choice....I would call.

They don't even know my date yet. They haven't even called back to let me know if it's open.

Call them & let them know. FYI - Randy said if I had a date change he would hold the deposit & switch it to the new date, if he wasn't available on the new date then he would refund it. I was concerned because my fiance is in the Army & you NEVER know with the military...

You should call! I called and they told me 3 to 4 buissiness days ...I waited a week and them called them. I was then told I was in the system but not to recieve a call . I was then told again I would recieve one in three days. I called at 2:00 on the third day ( 10 days after my first inital call) and was lucky enough to talk to the same girl I talked 3 days previous. She called the sales manager and the man who was suppose to be my event manager. Needless to say neither one anwsered but the next day my NEW EM Jennifer called and took care of everything right then and there. The only good thing was it made me realize how much I wanted to be a Disney bride oh and that I got Jennifer as my EM .. she is amazing. Good Luck ! I am sure things will work out in the end.

So Sorry. I would definately call back, and ask to speak to someone again, let them know that this is the second time and that you need to talk to someone ASAP. Stay on them and call everyday to ensure a call back. Also keep notes of who you talked to and what was said to you to ensure you have everything written down and if you have to ask questions later. I hope you get your date you want.

Thanks for that bit of information, I will just go ahead and make the deposit so at least I know I have Randy if my date pulls through. I'm thinking a Monday 9:00 AM ceremony at Sea Breeze Point shouldn't be too hard to obtain, but you never know!

Just got out of the Navy about 6 months ago on a lucky, lucky break. It was terrible though right beforehand! He had orders to the JFK in Florida (JAX was the goal). Found out JFK was going into the Norfolk ship yards for four years within 2 weeks of the time he reported. Adjusted to it after the disappointment. NOPE! Find out they are going to decom it anyways... back up for orders....

How is Fi doing? How long have you been separated?

We are getting Married May 22, 2006 at 9:00 am (a Monday!!!)at Sea Breeze Point! Good luck with getting your date & time. We chose this time since we knew we wanted a brunch & I don't think I could wait all day, I would get very nervous.

He has been in Korea since last Winter coming home this Winter. Then to BNOCC School for 3 months then our wedding, then off to Ft Hood, TX

I saw him in Korea for about 11 days in August, spent the week of Thanksgiving with him and his children in Alaska and he might have a few days after returning home to come to NY for a quick visit. Otherwise I will see him some weekends while he is at school but at least we will be in the same time zone. Currently he is 14hrs ahead of me.

He is doing okay, him going back after Turkey Day was VERY hard. I'm lucky though we talk everyday, sometimes more, correspond through email etc. I think I am going to write a book "How to plan your Disney Wedding when your fiance is deployed via Email, IM & broken up phone conversations!!!

This time of year is lonely but I have lots to look forward to! Thank you for asking! Ashley sorry for the hijacking of your thread!

I thought I was the only one! I too called last monday (our 1 year mark at that), gave them all of our information- date, location, time, etc.- and was told someone would be in touch with us within 72 hours. That came and went so we called back last friday and were told the same thing. We still haven't heard anything from anyone at FTW.

I understand that it is a business and there are many calls to return but this just doesn't sit well with us.

We were even in WDW last monday morning and popped into Franck's and got some info.
