Should I buy OKW now or...

...wait for GCV or CRV? I do not need the additional points right now, but I have a June use year and figure that I will get the OKW 07 points now and be able to bank them now but not if I buy closer to my use year. I would really like to wait for GCV or CRV, but I will need additional points for a trip to OKW in January, 2009 which I will need to reserve in late February if I buy OKW points. Any thoughts?

don't think CRV will even be ready until 2010. besides it might not be a DVC

not sure about the date for GCV?

so if you know you will need the points for 2009 would go ahead and buy now.

if this is just a one time need might consider renting some points for your trip.

We bought BWV direct in January one year. We have a March UY, and got the points, so buying now direct isn't really an issue unless you think they are out of June UY.

Didn't you recently sell some points?

Buying OKW direct would give them the 2057 expiration. I don't think any OKW points with 2057 are available for resale yet.

Oh...OK, now I understand. We are thinking of getting to the 1000 point club with a resale OKW add on. I'm thinking in a savings money mode, not longevity.
