Should I bring my 2 year old?

I would take him. If I didn't have all my children with me on vacation would just break my heart. On our last trip, my mom stayed at the hotel room and DH & I went out to the parks with my BIL and I felt guilty just leaving them behind in the room.

There is so much for your DD and DS to do they all will have a blast.

We just got back I have a 8, 6 1/2, & 5 yr old twins. They had a blast but I do not know how you moms & dads do it with kids in diapers - you are amazing. We waited until the youngest was 5. I would leave the 2yr old home and enjoy your 1 on 1 time with your 4yr old and then when you go home do somehting special with your 2 yr old.

We took our DS to WDW for his first trip when he was 2.5 years old. He had a blast. It was great because everything was real to him without any question. He loved all characters, even the princesses. Now when we go, you can't even mention a princess without him saying, "Noooooo" and he's started to ask questions about the characters.

We did bring my mom when we went because we weren't sure how he'd do.

We took our son for the first time when he was 2 years, 4 months. The trip was supposed to be all about our princess-loving daughter, who was 4 at the time. My son was a really difficult toddler who NEEDED to be kept on schedule, HATED crowds and hated characters like Santa Claus. We decided to take turns taking him back to the resort-or just staying there with him.

The kid SHOCKED us!!! He LOVED Disney World! He loved the rides, he didn't mind the crowds, he ate well, slept well and even (gasp) loved the characters. The boy that couldn't be taken to the mall for an hour didn't have one tantrum or meltdown. We did return to the resort by his 8pm bedtime every night, but we NEVER had to take him back to the resort early or stay out of the parks. We were so glad we took him!

Wow, you just described MY son do a tee. Has to be on schedule, can't mess up his routine, etc. I am hoping that when we go next year, he will have the same recation as your son.

I had his picture taken with Santa last week....all you can see in the picture is all the teeth in my son's mouth where he is pitching a screaming, crying fit. I only order 1 picture...it was that bad.:scared1:

I would say that if you and your dh have a good relationship with your mom why not bring her? It is always nice to have a second set of hands. That way you don't have to wonder if ds is going to be alright.
