Should I bother faxing All Star Sports?

We're staying at the ASSp on the first part of our trip. We've already requested a non-smoking room in Touchdown building with a King size bed. Should I still fax them 3 days before our trip? Can you think of any requests I may have missed? Thanks!

In my experience, 3 days may be too late anyways. I asked for the Jazz Inn at ASMu last Oct. about 2 months in advance and I ended up at the Rock Inn anyway (it was still fun, though...pink guitars!). Have fun on your trip. :D

It certainly won't hurt anything to send the fax and it could even end up helping your cause. Go for it!

And bring the copy of the FAX with you.;) Also, do it 4 days in advance!:)

Thanks for the replies! Should I just reiterate what I've already requested or should I add something? For the AKL portion of our trip, I'm definitely sending them a fax. Thanks for your help.

Can anyone tell me what the fax number is for special room requests?

My sister will be staying at the All Stars in a few weeks. She has Multiple Sclerosis and sometimes walking is difficult. The trip was donated to her and her children, so she did not pay for a preferred room. I was just wondering if there was some way to request a room as close to the preferred section as possible.

Is there a different fax number for each resort?

Thanks for any info.

Bringing a copy of the fax doesn't necessarily mean you will get your requests fulfilled. Sometimes the room you want may be occupied and there is nothing the controller can do. I fax away and hope for the best. If you have specific needs they should be requested at the time of booking.
Deb Will's site has some great info about faxing requests.

Thanks so much for the link with all the fax numbers. As usual, the people on the DIS are an amazing source of information.

Thanks again!
