Should I book room only at CR now?

Should I book our room at CR-MK view for Feb 09 right now? I will be getting a package, but they don't have those released yet.

Whay would you do?

Book the room and add on options at a later date..expecially if you are booking anytime over Presidents week. There aren't many CR-MK views and they go fast!

I totally agree. I saw, when booking our trip for CR Tower, that the rooms sold out in about three days. If you have your heart set on CR-MKV, I'd book it. You can always cancel or add-on, but once they are gone, they are gone (with the rare exception of a cancellation) and why stress yourself.... It's a Disney vacation and supposed to be FUN!

Yes! In fact, it might not be available now. They book up very fast.

This view is very popular and does sell out very fast. Plus the fact that there could be a convention group which makes reservations for a lot of rooms at the Contemporary, so best to get your reservation now to be on the safe side. By doing this you can always add the stuff you need for the package deal you want to do.

Since February 2009 is a long time from now, I bet that eventually a Magic Kingdom view will open up. So my advice is keep checking until one does. At least you still got a reservation with the Bay Lake view, because it's still in the Tower and it's better then having nothing.

They do book up fast! I tried last week to book at the CR with MK view for Jan. 13-18 2009, and both the MK view and Bay Lake views were booked. In fact, the Poly was booked as well. We got a savanna view room at the AKL, so we're still very excited. Hope you can keep checking back and get moved to the MK view side.

Those rooms definitely go fast - we generally book ours a year in advance. Made our Oct 08 reservation in Sept 07. Even if we think there is a remote chance we will be going, we snag those MK view rooms. We somehow lucked out and were able to add 3 more nights to our Oct trip just last week, even though the website showed no MK view availability.
